Spring is here and the forum is slow, and my guages still suck

Bored at work so just blabbin.  No new upgrades to the S22 but looking forward to the day I can install the GPS Perfect Pass. My gauges are about to drive me nuts. 

Last trip out the analog speedo and rpm guage where acting up on me.  I had to go off the digital rpm guage for an accurate reading.  New power lines to the analog guages in order?

That worked for my SX, just ran a pair of 8 gauge wires up the gunwale from the starting batt to the DECC switchbox posts.

Pete, you make this mod sound easy, but I have been slightly confused about this mod for a while now.  Did you actually run (2) 8-gauge wires directly from the battery (one + and one -) and then under the dash right into the DECC gauge itself?  Where exactly is the gunwale and what is the DECC switchbox post.  Also, did you need to solder on the wires to the back of the gauge or something??  Inline fuses?  I'm very weak at this electrical stuff.  Thx.  flyn2001.

Oh, and this is the fix for the DECC flashing the battery voltage low all the time while driving right?  Thx.

It's different on a V drive,  I was talking about Blindsides boat. On any boat with a Keyser Medallion gauge package, you can attach two 8 or 10 gau wires to your battery switch and run them to the power terminations near the dash. I do not know if you have the standard dash or the millenium dash, the DC power connections may be different. In any case, if you don't understand what I'm describing, you definitely should not do this mod.

Ok. I guess I will stby on this mod.  I do have the millenium dash (carbon fiber) if that is any help.

Anyone out there do this on an X-22 w/ millenium dash? Thx.
