Attached is a PDF from a prop shop that has the recommended Acme props for the Toyota Epic.  The recommended 3-Blade Acme prop is the 541 and the recommended 4-Blade Acme prop is the 209 for all Epic models (bottom of the form : chart for Acme props only).

Google search '3 blade prop verses 4 blade prop' and you will find multiple "opinions" on which type of prop is better.  Better hole shot, better top end, more vibration, less vibration, better fuel economy, salt water, fresh water, turning radius, wake character, etc., etc.

Search the forums on this site as well.  There are several threads regarding prop selection (more opinion but at least it's from Epic owners who have used the props on their boats).  Hard to know if you made the right choice until you install the new prop & Get Wet.

Unfortunately, I have no recommendation.  Still got the factory prop on my '01 SX.  When I do replace my prop, I'm going with the Acme 541 (based on my research of other peoples "opinion").  Good price at Nettle Props - $354.89 http://www.nettleprops.com/

Good Luck............

Ditto.

Much of the selection depends on what's most important to you.  Good to note the gear ratio on your Epic.  Not all are 1:1.  In consulting with ACME, I went with a 449 given my objectives compared to the prop I had on the boat and it's performance.  Since I'm at 4,500 feet elevation, that was also a factor.

One advantage of dealing with ACME directly is the offer that they gave me "Try it and if it doesn't do what you want, return it."

Be sure to talk to someone at acme. If you give them the model number that's currently on it, they can match it up for you and recommend based on what you want out of it. For example, my s22 is 1" bore and is a different part number(525) i also opted for a little less pitch -  11.5 instead of 12. It has a very good hole shot but won't go as fast as the old stock oj.
