Epic wanted
« on: May 30, 2009, 21:59:18 pm »
Looking at two boats in Texas one in Lubbock and one in Del Rio. Please take a look at both and give me a little insight. I am interested in these boats.

I am a purist 3 event skier. What do you want to do with the boat? 3 event or board and surf only? It makes a difference in which boat you buy.

I think the X-22 may be your best bet.  Direct drive and internal ballast.  If I were in the market again I would have seriously considered this:

The auction is over with no bidders.  Min. bid was 25k.  Kinda high in this market.  But 1 owner and super low hours, great option package and a good set of tower speakers.  1 owner (lexus Dealer)  causes you to think well maintained.  You might be able to get this boat for 23-24K  but will prob. spend 1500-2000 getting it to Tx.  So far the strongest showing in the marketplace In my opinion.

An Epic 22 would be the same boat and the ballast system is an add on. You can buy the very late option X22 hard tanks and be able to fill one side or the other. Most X22's have the sack type system. It is not ideal for surfing.

That being said, that boat Breakaway posted is the best choice. Can't beat a well maintained, low hour, inside kept boat like that.

I'd bet that the tanks will work in any Epic, the trunks are very similar.

I purchased the MN Lexus owned X22 and we also purchased a larger boat. If you would like to purchase an x22 with every option available including an upgraded Kenwood $4500 sound system with amp ipod and sirus radio with only 175 hours then shoot me an email.
$21.500 buys it.
