I was on the lake with the X22 and noticed my bilge pump wasn't working, so I had quite a bit of water in the hull.  Got home and got the bilge pump working again, but managed to break the factory electrical connector on the pump side.  Anyone know where to get a new connector to splice into the pump?

I also found that the ballast pump (Rule 1100 GPH Aerator Pump) in the rear of the boat is cracked where the motor (red) meets the pump housing (white).  I am thinking this is where most of the water in the hull was coming from.  I can't seem to find the exact pump to replace it.  Any recommendations on what to replace it with?

You can get that pump on this site for less than you can get it anywhere else. Check the TMS parts link and search your year and model for ballast parts. I think it's 27$.

I'm not sure where you get those connectors, though they are common in the boat industry. I haven't seen them at West Marine or anything because you need a special crimper and they don't sell them there. I would splice it out with spade lug connectors if you need to if you can't locate that plug. I usually cut the plug off the old pump and solder it onto the new one, How did you break the connector?

Thanks Cyclone.  I will check TMS parts.  $27 would be awesome, the cheapest i found on the web was $83... if i am looking at the correct pump.

Sounds good.  I think I am going to cut the connector off the broken aerator pump and splice it into the bilge pump and then spade lug the rear aerator pump.  I am thinking it would be better to keep a plug on that.  I was reaching through the access hole under the open bow and just pulled my arm out the wrong way and pulled the wires out of the connector, should have just pulled out the pump and set it to the side  :-[  I love hindsight!!!

Did some searching and visually think I found a place to get the connectors for the ballast pumps.

Sorry for posting these all separate, the connectors for the bilge pumps and ballast pumps are called "weather pack" connectors.  I found a bunch of places online which sell them.

Hopefully a local auto parts store has the crimping tool I can borrow, so I don't have to buy one.

That's so great! I had no idea where to get them. I'll use them for my ballast project.

You could always crimp the pin carefully by hand then solder it. Not too much solder though, or the pins won't fit through the connector.

Glad I could help.  Some places sell each part for the connector individually, some sell a male/female kit and then there are large kits.

I was kind of toying with that idea too.  I found the tool online too, starting at $25 and up
