Is your platform messing up the wake? Somebody here noticed that and was going to retrofit a CC platform to fix it.

good news!

I just pulled the floor panels and filled both tanks and waited....  NO LEAKS!  not sure what happened last time but I think it was just a clogged bilge which I cleaned out and just an accumulation of water that wasn't draining.  It always takes on some water from somewhere but I don't know where.  not enough to usually matter.  It's not from the packing on the drive shaft or from the water pump.   who knows, I'm just glad I don't have to pull the tanks!!!  Now I'm headed to the lake to try out my new surf board!   8)

the platform definitely flattens out the wake.  I weighed the boat down last weekend and was dragging the corner of the platform so I took it off completely and whala.... I had a wake! now that I know it is for sure the problem, I am building some risers 7 1/2" to bring it just over the transom light.  I will post pics when it's done.  check out the wake with no platform..

Has anyone tried custom modified rear section of the Toyota epic?  Specifically, switchblade hydrofoil or aluminum plates?

i know a couple people have talked about it but i dont think anyone has attempted it. not sure if the hull is thick enough in that area to support a "wedge" type device.

My friend has a Centurion Enzo 23 and has a switchblade.  He is pleased with the ease of modifying the surf wake using the switchblade.
