Need some help!!!!
Just finished some service including a new impeller, main belt, oil change, etc. Since the change, water temp gets over 200 while idling but gets back down around 140-160 when in gear and moving. Any ideas?

mine was doing the exact same thing. turned out to be a raw water pump suction side leak.  It wasn't leaking water out but rather air in.

I had similar air leak problems once. Check all connections from the hull to the pump inlet very carefully, sea strainer, etc.
