For me, the thought of sending the Epic off to become glue is extra bad because we are part of something so small and special. If I was a Corvette or Malibu or iPhone owner who chose to sell, I might be sad becuase I'd be out a car, boat, phone, and also that that particular subject might have my own scratches made during my own experiences. However, you'd normally find the bright side to be that when you're in a position to reequip, it's an upgrade opportunity.
With our boats, it's a bit more final. One shot in life (normally) to get your hands on a good Epic. There are probably precious few that are still in like-new condition, and before long I fear the survivors will be getting a bit long in tooth.
If I had to give up a Nautique, I'd be bummed about not having a boat on the side yard, about having to forgoe Havasu for a number of years, etc., but I know that if I were such a Natique freak, there would be some sick a$$ new version when the time was right.
No more Epics. Cherish yours before it's gone to greener pastures and you're faced with driving one of the new (awesome) rigs.
Long live Epic!!!
