Has anybody thought about running this in there Boat.  My Friend has been bugging me to switch to Amsoil full synthetic, he believes it is by far the best oil on the market.  well if you go to Amsoil's sight they re comend 0w-30 or 5w30 oil with the 0w - 30 being the better oil.   Any thoughts?

I agree.

Ive run Amsoil 0W-30 in my Epic and their 5w-30.  Honestly it doesnt really matter, both are great oils.  I really like Amsoil's product line but have been running Mobil 1 just because half the time Im in a time crunch to change the oil in my trucks and boat and forget to order Amsoil.
