Can anyone confirm the tower diameter?

I think it is 1 5/8"... But want to be sure. Is all tubing on the tower the same size?

My speaker brackets are supposed to ship out tonight and I forgot to measure last weekend when I was with my boat.

The factory tower is 1 5/8" outside diameter.
