Exhaust hoses and running warm
« on: August 29, 2011, 17:18:00 pm »
I recently replaced my exhaust hoses due to the internal hoses coming apart, there were several large blisters. the first time out i noticed the boat sounded (exhaust) different. which i can understand if the large pieces of rubber were obstructing exhaust. one thing i did not expect was to have my engine temp drop 10 degrees. i was consistently running 180-185 degrees before and now I'm running about 170-175. just thought id give people a heads up especially if your running a little warm or overheating. check those hoses.

i really did think exhaust hoses could have such an effect on engine temps
