Cyclone is dead?
« on: June 28, 2004, 17:59:27 pm »
NOT REALLY,  but i bet some heart rates went up upon reading that subject line (sorry, but i wanted to make a point).

I love my boat as most of you do.  I go along for 200 hours or so without any kind of problem.  I occasionally look at what is new on the site but mostly take it for granted that it is (and will be) there.  This weekend i lost my serpentine belt (minor problem) and where did i go but straight to epicmarine.com.  nobody locally could have helped me and after a couple of posts and some searching on the site i called Atlanta Marine (Cyclone's Parts Supplier @ 678-482-6499 martha or kurt) and they are having belts drop shipped overnight today.

EVERY SINGLE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE HAD (ALTHOUGH MINOR) HAS BEEN FIXED THROUGH THIS SITE.

THE POINT IS something as simple as a belt and my stress level went through the roof.  so i started thinking, what if something happened (god forbid) to cyclone???

Cyclone, we love and appreciate you and hope that you have a back up plan for us if you were unable to continue this awsome service that you provide.  Maybe someone that you trust on the site could have your isp info and permission to the site content if it ever became necessary.  or maybe its already been addressed.  I, like many others would also be willing to help with any costs that you may incur.  you always say that its pennies and not to worry about it, but we know your time is worth more.   THANK YOU AGAIN!!!  Scott

Cyclone love fest!  Couldn't agree more. Not that I've really been able to fix anything yet (hence the name, VillageIdiot), I know one day I will HAVE TO fix something on my own, and this site will be how it gets done. I'm doing my own winterization this year, I decided.  I gotta learn how to do basic stuff on engines, and figure that my Epic is an excellent reason to learn.  And I owe it all to you Pete!!!

Nuthin' but love.
