RUN the sky is falling!!!!!!!!!!! seriously folks Ive worked with Toyota/Lexus for over 15 years. they don't "discard" parts. they may sell the remaining stock to an interested party but they will never throw away parts. ive gotten a 19 year old part for a toyota awhile back. they are only required to keep parts for 10 years on any given model. but thats never the case. i think this is a scare tactic.

this issue has definitely got under my skin........ i called and spoke with the part manager at Marine Products in Salt Lake City, Utah. The dealership where i bought my boat. I asked specifically about the future availability of parts, and he said there are certain items Toyota is out of like some seat skins and upholstery, deck parts. BUT they can still get anything else and haven't had any problems ordering parts. they don't sell alot of Toyota parts anymore but they can get us anything Toyota still has at regular prices. i asked if they had heard about Toyota "discarding" parts and he almost laughed. he has heard nothing like that.

I wish this was not the case when Toyota Marine stopped production we scrapped so much I cried. There is one agreement and that is to continue to sell the specific Marine parts. The Warehouse has had no activity on alot of parts and will scrap them. I have a suggection by sending letters to the president of Toyota Motor Sales and explain the situation and your needs to continue the parts sales it might help.

How do we decipher this PDF?  Are we looking for items that had some on hand but no "quantity transferred"?  Are those the ones being discarded?

What do the colors mean? Anything?
