S22 Rudder Port V-Drive
« on: May 21, 2012, 15:57:44 pm »
Is the rudder port supposed to have a grease fitting in it? I see the possible remains of a grease fitting on the front (bow facing) side of my rudder port but not sure if it was actually a grease fitting? I would think it would be important to have grease in there and want to make sure I get this repaired if in fact there is supposed to be one there. Thanks guys!
Love this forum!

yes it has a push in zerk fitting and it would take a 13 oz cartrige to try to fill it
if you remove boat every time from water you can not grease it. There are 2 orings
