How many hours on a tank of fuel
« on: July 17, 2012, 19:38:19 pm »
Since being a new Epic 21 owner I was curious about how many hours people normally get on a tank of fuel.  I realize there are a lot of varations such as load/type of activity etc.

I had a long 3 day weekend on Clearlake where we logged 8 hours Wakeboarding/tubing/cruising and I went through an entire tank of gas. Is that pretty par for course with the Epic boats?

I usually run about 2.5 to 3 gallons per hour for wakeboarding and skiing. A 27 gallon tank would take about 9 hours to drain, so I'd say you're right on the money.

I would say that is about right and of course you probably still had a few gallons left in the tank.

Thats roughly what I get in my E22. The days that we're going down the lake to ski/board/tube and leave our dock at 8am, we're usually gassing up around 2-3pm with the boat running all the time.  That also includes a 22-25mi each way ride down and back just cruising at 2800rpms.
