Has anyone else bought a bimini from mjohnsonishere?

Its official...I have been screwed.  In late June I found a post from mjohnsonishere for a bimini he had for sale...he had my check on the 27th of June...I have not heard from him since.  DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY. 
I have had my x22 since 05 and this site has been amazing for me...I just didnt ever think that someone on here (especially one that I had several general boat related conversations with) would take me like that.  I just hope that no one else has had the same experience...and more importantly i want to make sure no one makes the same mistake i did with this guy.

I have been in contact with him about buying one of his covers.  He told me that his daughter had heart surgery and was having complications.   I luckily never sent a check, but I never got the goods either.  I want to believe that his story is legit because it sounds really terrible, but at this point I an beginning to believe he is a scammer.

Yeah...i got the same story the day after the check was cashed.  That was on the 28 th of june...when was yours?

Heres an odd little twist to this one...I came home on saturday to a giant box on my doorstep.  46 days after the guy had my check the bimini showed up...actaully about 3/4 of it showed up...only a few parts missing.  I tried calling the guy again...have not heard back.  Maybe by next year...who knows.
