How much time you got?
« on: May 06, 2013, 04:12:05 am »
Just a question: post your years and hours as an Epic owner!

Know some have outgrown, but there's still not many for sale.

Us ten years in May, about 500 hours.

11 years and about 310 hours.  Last 2 years, the boat has not even seen the water due to crappy 2 years.  This year, hopefully lots of use.  Not one single problem that wasn't an easy fix.  These boats ROCK!!!

8 years and a measly 200 hours. Had the ten year service done last fall and we're good to go for another 12 or 13. I figure I can push it a couple of years with the low hours. I've never done anything but change oil, impeller and start it up on the first turn of the key!

When I picked it up last weekend from the dealer/storage they said the Epics were still the best sounding boats to come through their shop!

3 years and a total of 260 hours.  Boat had 146 when I bought it.  I thought I'd be doing more skiing and wakeboarding, but most of those hours have been going to and from the party cove  8)

This will be 13 years for us.   720 hours on our E-22....Looking forward to another 5000!!!
If it wasnt for one playing Baseball & two in Softball all summer, we would have 1000 more.
And of course, It is all good. Saving it for when they are all out of the house.

Our X22 is going into its 14th summer and tallied 900 plus hours.
We're responsible 1/2 the summers, 1/3 of the hours, and the one spark-plug change.
And we luv it...  :)

1999 X 22. I've owned it for 3 years.  Got it with 200 hours.  Now has 402.5 as of today!  Great sunset in Seattle.  Wonderful boats.   Putting about 50-70 hours/year.

Bought my first epic e22 in 2004, put about 400 hrs on it and sold it in 06. I got my second epic sx22 in 06 put about 430 hrs on it and sold it last Thursday. Last couple years have been pretty slow for us our first and only (HahA) daughter was born in 2010. She's loved the boat since we put her on it at 1 month old. Bought a fixer upper foreclosure in 2011 and between the two haven't had a lot of time to get to the lake. Crazy since its 1/2 mile away now........ Will there be a 3rd epic? Well see. A boat either way, I already miss it and its only been 6 days.
OVER 800 HRS ON 2 EPICS.
99 E22- Sold 2007

1999 E22 - bought with 100 hours 10 years ago from original owner.  Now at 900 hours and running strong.  Never changed plugs.  When do I do that? I thought it said 1000 hours right?
