That seems super cheap and the boat looks in excellent condition.

Someone is going to get a great deal if the bidding stops.  Looks like a nice boat.

Listed as a 2002 but based on the interior upholstery, it looks like a 2001 or earlier if the upholstery is original;-)  If someone can get the HIN then it can be verified.

I spoke with the dealer and the year was a typo, it is a 2000. The HIN number is TMMTD061D000. According to the registry it used to belong to hoosierbruce on this forum. I spoke with a local mechanic who has worked on Epics a lot in the past and he said the only problem with the S 22 at higher altitudes (which is where I'm located) is the drive ratio. The factory ratio results in poor performance and has to be changed to 146:1. He said its about a $1500 to $2000 job. Also, a high altitude prop would be in order. Just thought I'd pass along the info for anyone thinking of bidding on it. Also, it doesn't include the original trailer or tower.

I'm new to the forum and Epic boats. I'm interested in buying one. Does anyone know if an aftermarket tower will fit on the S-22?
Thanks

Wolfman,  check out my aftermarket tower on my 2001 S22.  Look in the registry #6.  It's been a great tower made by Samson Wakeboard Towers.

Wolfman -- I had some major power issue at altitude with my SX that I took up to Lake Tahoe (6000 feet) this year.  The boat already had an Acme 13X12.5 Prop, however, with the boat full of people and full ballasts I could not even get to plane. I spoke to a local boat mechanic and he recommended a 13X10.5 which has made a world of difference. I am losing top speed (36 MPH WOT), but the hole shot is amazing on the lake.

I had no idea that the gear ratio is also an issue with these boats. The interesting thing is that when I spoke to the mechanic he said he get at least 2-3 customers a week who bring their boat up from sea level (all brands) and are amazed that they can't even plane on Lake Tahoe with their regular props!! So I don't think this problem is exclusively on Epic boats.
