Can the deck become seperated from the hull?
« on: October 15, 2013, 19:23:11 pm »
I bought boat #7 after a season of demo-ing for a really good price. Captain Rick actually worked on the boat and did a good job at putting it back into shape. However, has anybody had a failure in the bonding glue holding the deck and the hull together? Early in manufacturing they thought there might be a problem so they installed these clips which didn't look like they would do much. Up shot is that I noticed that my rub rail is getting loose. It's probably just stretching but I'd like to ask for curiosity sake...so if anybody has an answer let me know what you think.

Anyway, I believe I am the only owner of a Toyota in CT. If there is another owner in CT, let me know. I'd like to have a conversation.

2. Does it have clips under the black rub rail? alumin clips est every 3 feet. ?

4. There are no reported seperation other then the one that created this issue.
