Heater Full of Water
« on: October 20, 2013, 05:10:22 am »
I was out on the water today and noticed my feet were getting wet while driving. Seems to me the heater is leaking. Pulled the kick plate and noticed some drips off the metal case and then found that the air hoses seemed to be full of water! Sounds like the core is shot to me, how about everyone else?

I had this happen a few years ago.   Removed the heather core and connected the lines to make a loop.  Always wanted to buy another core but don't really have a huge need for it in Tennessee.    I do recall the water being very warm/hot.

That's what I am leaning towards doing too, tenn, since I don't need it here in Arizona, but unfortunatley I am selling, so I figure I should fix it.

Pulled the heater out and the core had a leak.  Oh well, do not need a heater here in AZ.

Thanks Capt Rick, but I am going to hold off, at 112 degrees right now a heater is the last thing on my mind :)
