Just kind of realized this, but with the Epic, what you see is what you get. If you run it and it doesn't vibrate, or miss, or alarm, you're probably set for another couple thousand hours (mechanically). The original engine fluids could still be in there and it's probably like new inside. The hull and all hidden structure will be rock solid forever. So, we get back to how the cosmetics are. If you're comfy with a clearly used boat's looks, go for it.
Have you spent time in an Epic? Have you read around in the various, "I'm looking at a used _____ what do you guys think?" threads? Most of us will say is an amazing boat, but there are some issues you'll want to get up to speed on.
Personally, I paid 'full' price for a used boat three states away simply because it was like new. Don't find many perfect boats out there, but it looks like there have been a few over the past year.
Finally, because of the resale value risks, you want to make sure you're REALLY happy with the thing.
Once again, I gave an opinion about something you didn't ask about (you'll see that's SOP for me).
WELCOME!!!!
