The boat is running better than ever. I had a temp spike at first, I think there was an air bubble. I checked the thermostat vs the replacement I put in last year, the orig opens at exactly 160 deg. It also has two bleed holes in the top of the baseplate that I believe help a lot when dry starting after the engine has drained in preventing air pockets. The replacement has a much smaller bleed hole and opens at 175. The boat runs MUCH better with the original 160 deg thermostat. If I was running a 175 deg tstat I would drill a couple of holes in it to aid in air bleeding and to bypass it to make it run a little cooler.

Still loving that new Acme prop, it transforms the boat. I think I had an S22 prop on the boat, 13x13 LH .080 cup. It is the WRONG prop for an SX.

Banged up my ankle this winter so I don't know if I will be doing much wakeboarding. I think I will try surfing this yr.

I have been waiting for the day to get back out on the boat since the day we winterized it. I got the boat running better than it ever has on the last ride of the season, so it was tough to close it up for the season.

Cyclone, we are custom making a bow filler cushion, have the dimensions for it, but didnt snap a picture of it. Since you have your boat out already, can you take a picture of the bow so that we know the shape of the corners(rounded, squared, etc)? Thanks
