Help. Boat won't turn over

I swapped out the timing belt and Water pump.  Tried turning it over and nothing.  Don't even hear the start click.  Beeps and gauges and radio all on.  Any ideas?

 If the gate is turned on when the key goes on that means a lanyard is on but you might not be a neutral
 Also the batteries which can be bad and not giving good amperage

I love this site.  That was it.  Moved the throttle a little to make sure it wasn't in gear and started right up.  Thanks again so much
