Do the Capt Rick certified marine one. I had one seize up, break the belt, overheat real bad like, caused heartbreak and depression. It was overloaded from the ridiculous stereo and charging two batts.
The aftermarket one worked for a couple of months then corroded and fell apart. I went with the factory Marine replacement. High cost, I'll get this one rebuilt next time and have it done by a shop that does marine alternators. But for NOW, buy the Toyota Marine part. My .02, been there. There's pics on here of my completely rotten 6 month old alternator
