Here's a photo just before we took our Epic out for the last time this year.  These pictures will have to get us through to next summer!

Please post some new photos of your boats for the winter!

Hey Lakeside-     If i'm seeing correctly you do not have a wakeplate on the back of your 22 like our X22's do.
Right? How is the wake for waterskiing behind your boat?
If you can post a picture of the back of your boat (from the swim platform on down),  I will do the same.

Thanks, Jeff

it'd be great to get a bunch of eppie pix on this thread.  See what we've all done to our toys.

Hey Jeff,

You're right our Epic 22 doesn't have a wake plate.  The wake is great for skiiing, but to be honest, this is the only inboard I've skied behind.  It makes all of the I/O's and outboards seem like broken down barges with slow pick up.  (Actually, when I was a kid, some neighbors of mine had a Boston Whaler outboard, probably about 16 feet long, which was a blast to ski behind.)

Unfortunately, our Epic is in storage until spring, so I can't get any fresh photos up until then.  Now that we have a boat, I'll be looking forward to the ice melting on the lakes.  I think it may be April or May before we can get out again.  That's why it will be great to get a lot of photos up on this thread to get us all through the long winter.

Winter never sucked so bad until last year. Was really jonesing for summer. After this summer and a reminder of how bad the water gets, I'm actually looking forward to winter and all the flat water. Seems like around here, winter's for riding and summer's for family and fun. Plus we just bought our soon-to-be-seven a drysuit for his birthday (actually the fruits of my Alaskan exhile this summer.)

You'll have to find the picture in the photos section of the site: during a forum upgrade, all the links to embedded pictures were severed. Les did go back and add them all to the photo archives, we just haven't been faithful enough to go back and re-attach the pictures.

THANKS LAKESIDE!!!

Just like mine minus the wakeplate.

I'm definitely having mine removed (professionly) and give it a try.

Any chance of a wake picture at 36 MPH. Much appreciated.

Jeff
