New Prop=New Boat
« on: April 19, 2003, 16:19:56 pm »
Just put on a new stainless OJ 4 Blade Prop yesterday and we have already been out twice.  It turns out the prop my boat came with was an OJ 4 blade but it was not stainless.

There is a huge difference!  Just awesome hole shot and better top end.  Feels like I got a new boat.

Wow, that's good to know. I should try a stainless one.

What props does everyone use?  Mine is a Cutter SS 13x13.5, but  Ihave been told that it is actually modified with increased cupping and its diameter is actually larger then the stock.  I tried a stock Cutter and the engine reved higher for any speed.

I am using a Nibral 4 blade OJ 13x13 LH, heavy cup. until I tear it up today after the rains from last night washed all the debris into the lake  :P
