An old topic gone to the dogs.
« on: March 11, 2005, 00:12:22 am »
This is an old topic, but I couldn't find the thread. My wife says I should post a pic of our smallest crew member, Dodger. Here he is earning his diploma from obedience school (a must for any dog who's gonna be on the Yota). She also thinks his pic should be my new Avatar. I think its just because she's angry about the affair I have going with my  crew. She's always wanting control. What do you think? Should I cave to her wishes or stand fast in my committment to providing the most entertaining avatars possible. Festivus doesn't need to chime in. I already know he's just jealous of the crew.

By the way, here is Dodger and the rest of my real crew above the Hite Marina at Lake Powell. Where is the lake you say? Well, a few years ago, everything you can see behind the crew was the 100 foot deep lake. The lake is now down more than 140 feet below full, so the Hite Marina is high and dry. Don't you wish you had a houseboat moored there?

yessir.  My dig piddled on everything, including an occasional leg sprinkling on me.  Got rid of the lousy shedding beast a few weeks ago.  Never been happier, oh yeah, except for before I had the dog.
As for cats, when we go on a trip, I leave the toilet lid up, tear the top off the cat food bag, and good to go for weeks at a time.  Call me Morris.  I promise not to pee on you.

I can sympathize, we have a 80 lb Wiemarauner that is about 13, he has seizures every now and then and pees on stuff. He's not long for this world, but it'll break my heart when it's time to put him down.

Shawn,
Cool dawg and damned impressive display of power aka the tower box. Is that the same box you've always had?

Here's my dumbass knucklehead carpetwhizzer in his natural state. He's been on the boat twice, accounting for 95% of the interior wear in five years. The last time, he jumped of in the middle of the lake and freaked, started to swim to shore. I had to jump in and drag his big butt back onto the swim platform or he woulda drowned in front of the kids.

Pete, my dog didn't make it very far when he jumped off the boat.  He had a leash on that basically hung him suspended with his paws in the water.  It was pretty funny, I wanted to see what his plan was next, but my wife made me pull him in.  I was reluctant, he had already crapped and puked in the boat that day.  Needless to say, it was his last time on the deep blue.  At least that was in my Moomba, not the S22.

My pups got the shakes too. Is your dog the mellowest dog anybody has seen? Mine is.  If anybody plans on getting a dog that you will be taking on the boat try to find one with epilepsy. Don't get me wrong, you will be dealing with a whole set of other problems with a "Shakin Dog", but they do make  for a mellow boat dog...

Bitzco, the new ballast shot IS Epic.  I could fit my whole body inside her bicep, or upper arm flabulant area where the bicep should be.  Nasty.  It looks like she sat on someones tent and it stuck to her groin.

Here's Ollie!  This was about six weeks ago...but I'm too lazy to break out the camera. He's a 4-month old now.  He might be "crew" if he gets some of those mitten things like highflyin's pup does.  And maybe some epilepsy to calm him down a bit...

By the way, Highflyin and I went wakeboarding together yesterday. What a great day...mid-60's in the air and mid-50's in the water (ridiculously warm for this time of year, weather is crazy in the NW).  Terry was hitting the three's perfectly, plenty of spin, on axis...but barely missed the handlepass.  Terry, we'll definitely be doing that again, gotta get you landing those!
