Les,
Darn good start, you covered all the bases on the first pass. You must be an absolute hero among the retards at AJC. I hope they pay well, if not, when this Epic Registry thing gets rollin...
It would be nice if you could add a form that would fill a table for Epic sightings, they could be confirmed later by people that say '"hey, that was my boat three years before I owned it" then resolved to HIN numbers over time. I think that most entries will start this way, most of us only know the HIN of the one we own.
Model number, tower, year, color are the main things that people can identify from the water or street. Platform type must be important because Toyota wants near a f$$king thousand dollars for a fiberglass one. I don't even want to ask what a teak one costs, probably five grand.
Dealership/Lake/Location is very important, I've seen five times more Epics at the dealer than I have on the lake. Lots of people never take their boat out.
i just saw a '99 epic 22 on the Travel channel, no sheot. Most Disgustingly Opulent Lake Homes show. Yeah, I'm jealous. Dark green and white (tan maybe) I was so stunned that I didn't notice what lake it was on.
