Epic x22 belt
« on: June 16, 2005, 13:50:34 pm »
i have a 2000 x-22 that is going to need a new belt.  Is that something you can get at an auto parts store or do you have to order it from a boat dealer.

Thanks,

Welcome to the site! Post some pics and a story AS SOON AS YOU CAN :-)

The correct answer is to call your local ex-Epic dealer or Atlanta Marine and have the real deal shipped to you. The links below tell the story of using one off a Lexus.

You could pull it off the boat and take it to the store and match it up. It isn't gold plated or anything.

Thanks for the links.  I'll try to contact Atlanta Marine.  I actually got a Lexus belt from Napa that they matched up by length.  I don't know if it's going to work or not the boat seemed to be running hotter than usual when I took it out for a spin.

Thanks Again,

Thanks for the number I couldn't read mine.  I just bought this boat last year so I'm not sure what the guy before me has replaced on it.  The pullies are in great shape, but I will order a belt.  Do you know if there's a place in Texas to order from?  I'm in the Dallas area.  I know Phil Dill used to sell them but they told me to go to NAPA.
