Thanks guys for the feedback. Just curious, what are air bags and where exactly do you put them? Same effect as stabilizer bars between the hitch and trailer?

I was told the Tundra was rated at 7000 lbs so I would think the tranny would be okay for hauling 3000 lb Epics up the mountains, but it would be nice to know the tranny temp.

thanks!

Epic
The air bags go in between the the frame and the leaf spring. If you got some junk in your trunk and your OEM leaf springs can't take it you pump the air bags up and they take a lot of the load. If I pumped the bags up and did not have a load it would be like driving a dump truck or a 3/4 ton full size (not cushy).

I have yet  to hit a weight station while im on the road with the boat but between the boat, fuel, gear, and trailer i'll bet it comes in right around 5K. Not to mention all the shit i put in the bed of the truck when im going on a camping trip. But I do agree that I think the tranny will be just fine, Im just anal.

i also ride (or try to) an  Absolute.  It is a great board.  I should get props from CWB.  I have not had anyone dislike the board, and a few friends have even bought one because they liked mine.

Same story here Festivus. The Absolute is the shiznizzel. I highly recommend the CWB Zues bindings to go on top.

Around here, all the local shops slam CWB, or at least heavily promote Hyperslight. My heart's been set on the Absolute for some time, but just haven't been able to justify the purchase. I'd do it for the kid in a heartbeat, but as for me, the ghetto Liquid Force will have to do for a while.

PACNORWEST EPICS....I'm coming up tonight, but unfortunatey it's a SHORT turn and will be returning tomorrow noon. Ski Masters will be closed, can't even check out the new and improved Museum of Flight at Boeing Field (this is a major museum if you have the opportunity to checky check it out).

Hope to schedule it over a weekend next time so Cal can give me some pickleball lessons.
