Trailer Fix
« on: July 15, 2005, 04:22:06 am »
Sometimes things work like they're supposed to.

I have a DHM trailer which is what North Bay marine uses, where I bought my boat.  It came with Trailer Buddy bearings(made by UFP).  They are similar to Bearing Buddys.

Anyway - I kept having an issue where the grease leaked out and got my wheels all greassy - yuk.

I called Trailer Buddy and talked to a tech guy.  He told me that the little metal hub part with the zirk fitting was probably leaking.  He asked what kind of trailer and bolt pattern.  The guy sends me out 4 brand new hub thingys with the stainless covers and all - for free.  No warranty registration, no customer database, just on my word.

THAT's a company that stands behind their products and knows a thing or two about customer service.
