Ski Masters in Kenmoore Washington has one. 01 SX with all the good stuff and about 20 hrs. The are asking alot though, I think about 40K. I know the guy though and he did tell me he wants to get rid of it. So if your interested he may make you a good deal. This boat is left over from when they were selling Toyota boats.

Capt. Rick, what about your boat? Did you sell it or have you decided to keep it?

I looked at the Skimasters boat, it has 20 hours. It does have some minor gelcoat damage, not all the way through and not in the color. It could easily be repaired. I think it is a late '01 and has been demoed a bit, and been outside with the cover on it for a while. The trailer and boat could be cleaned up and look like new pretty easily. The mechanicals are definitely new and the boat probably carries a new warrantee.

What is a fair price for the boat at ski masters?  Going to ski behind it this weekend.  Would love to have the 22sx as well.

I know when Bitzco was looking for another SX last year he talked to the guys at Ski Masters about their semi-new one, I'm sure he'll chime in with the complete story, but they were very anxious to sell it last year.   I'd say low 30's.  Keep an eye out, you'll find one.  Where are you located, waveboy?

I'd do it for like 33 or 34K. No more. New is good. They will tell you the warranty is still in effect. It should be, but It won't be the whole warranty. I understand that the warranties on all (even unsold) boats started their time sometime last year. Maybe cap'n Rick knows more about it.

The Captain Rick boat has been maintained by a TOYOTA representative. It's DNA is very strong, and probably worth the drive down to Orlando. If you like the colors, etc., fly down there and check it out - rent a truck for the haul home ;-)

Check with Skipper Bud's in Pewaukee, WI.  In addition to being the Toyota Marine service folks, they broker used boats.  Last summer they had two Epics for sale.  We got one of them, but I don't know if the other one sold.  The other one was a blue Epic 22 (Direct Drive/No Tower).  Both of these boats were well below $25k.  The one we got was in like new condition.  Since Skipper Bud's services many of the Epics in the Milwaukee area, they may know of someone looking to sell theirs.  Call and ask for Ryan in the service department since he's most likely to know of a service customer who may be ready to sell.

You may also want to call Jack Safro Toyota in Brookfield, WI.  They were the original Toyota Marine dealership in our area.  Ask for someone familiar with Epic boats.  I spoke with someone there last summer who worked at Safro Marine when it was selling Epics.  He still remembers most of their customers who bought Epics.  He recalled selling our boat to its original owner.  He might know of someone who would be interested in selling.

I've seen four different Epics on Pewaukee Lake this summer, so they're around.  Good luck in finding one!  Are you in the Milwaukee area?
