Installation info, trampline top to tower
« on: August 15, 2005, 22:04:09 pm »
Is there any info on measurements to install a trampoline top to a tower? All factory parts, installing on a 01 S22 with 30 hours. New
style tower (Brushed Alum). Any suggestions would help.
Thanks in advance,
Curtis

Call Atlanta Marine and ask for Tony. He did mine. He drilled some holes, I can measure where if you like, on the inside of the tower tubes. He then inserted the captured fasteners, then bolted the top frame up using the L brackets and 2"x1/4-20 bolts. Use wingnuts if you need to take it down often. He strung the tramp top with wire ties first, enough on each side to hole the cloth while he laced it. I used 1/8" nylon twine to redo mine last year.

There are pics on the TMS Parts lookup page, search for tower.

The holes for my top are 10" below the underside of the top of the tower, back leg, and about 9" below on the front. It is level with the boat. The slots in the brackets go against the tramp frame. You can put the top a little higher than mine, I'd recommend going as high as you can, but don't forget room for speakers. Or put them on top.
