perfect pass settings
« on: August 16, 2005, 19:13:31 pm »
Has anyone  put together a list of settings that work well for them.  For example:

BALLAST =  KDW/NN

1000 lb's = 110/100

1500 lb's = 135/100

What i am getting at is, i would like to have a quick reference sheet together to keep in the boat, so when we switch it up, we don't have to play the guessing game.

These are the different weights we run, so if you happen to run any of the same, what settings do you use?

no ballast

500 lb's

1200 lb's

1700 lb's

2200 lb's

Thanks in advance!

Blindsides settings work awesome for me, KDW 185, NN 60. Sounds backwards but it is very aggresive. It reads the speed very quickly and makes large speed moves. It is twitchy without weight. It is within plus minus .1 with a full locker sack in the trunk and a full walkway sack and three or four people. Wake is clean at about 20.5 mph.

For this reason, I asked PP to give us, instead of a name like Amanda, a name like LoadedUP or 1500lbs or whatever, and have that load KDW, NN and speed setpoints specific to that boat setup. Eric the engineer from PP said they could do it if there were some interest in it. I posted on WW but it went right over everyones head. Who knows, it may be part of the new interface design. That would be cool.
