No problem Chris. I'm glad to see that your boat is in production, and that it is getting some good press. There are quite a few new people on here that weren't here when we found your website a coupla years back, so I'll summarize. Somebody (Derek?) was searching the internet for Epic stuff and found an early version of your website. We all speculated that the site was some kids class project or something, no way would someone actually build a boat from the ground up! After a couple of weeks, you joined the forum and filled us in on what you were trying to do. SINCE the boat was going to be called Epic, we all kinda felt that it should be at least as cool as our boats, and have some of the unique features that Toyota put into their boats. We gave you a pile of unsolicited advice about what we like about our boats, and things we'd do differently if we had the choice. I did notice in the reviews that you took a lot of our suggestions to heart, which is pretty cool and I'm sure owners of your boats will dig the fact that you put so much time into making the boats user friendly for the wakeboarder and recreational boater in general, instead of just blinging them out. There's too much of that out there anyway, and your boat really stands on its own as something unique and purpose built.
Someday, I will have completely worn out my Epic, or will just be ready for something else, and I will be looking very hard at a NEW Epic. Even if I have to tow it from Ca. back to the Atl.
Any east coast dealers lined up? I could give you some contacts, Atl is one of the biggest inboard markets here.
Another question, I know you saw the posts on WW with the pics of the MB hull failure. I followed the links and read what that surveyor said about cored hulls. I know that your hull is resin infused, and I kind of understand what that is, but I'd like to know more about how solid your hulls are and why that process is superior.
