1967 Firebird.. Anyone interested
« on: March 14, 2006, 16:40:31 pm »
I've got a 1967 Firebird sittin in the garage I was thinkin about selling.  I had the motor professionally rebuilt.  It has a chevy 350 bored .30 over with forged pistons, forged crank, highlift cam, roller rockers, high rise edlebrock intake, 750 cfm 4 brl edlebrock carb, Full lenth headers, factory 4 speed manual tranny, factory rear end. About 380+ HP! The body is in great shape with no rust and a 5 year old class b paint job (dark silver).  The interior uphostry is new.  Car runs great but needs new front brakes and that's about it.  I just can't find the time to work on it anymore.

Anyone interested?

I don't think that engine will fit under my S22's hatch.

Hey I might be interested. Where do you live and about how much were you looking to get for it?
I need something to replace my 1972 Pinto automatic.
Thanks
Dave

Sounds like a fun toy, and best of all, it's NOT a Camaro:)

Ya, it's defienently better than a camaro.  U see those all the time, and mustangs.  This car is no cornering car, but on the straight-a-way, oh ya.   Needs slicks and traction bars to get more traction.

That car looks FUN. Reminds me of Fast & Furious II with old school cars vs. tuners.

I love that car, and that was the year I was born...what a great year!

Speaking of old school vs. new school. I took my IS to the dragstrip last weekend and saw my share of old school. I posted a 13.88 1/4 time. Pretty much as advertised. Here I am in a flat STOCK car with baby seat in the back, automatic, basically just mashed the gas and posted sub 14 1/4 mile. Notice my horrendous reation time of .735.
