So, for all of you out there who wait for Lake Powell or Mead each year, I was just check in some stats. The lake is currently about 109 feet below full, but is supposed to fill 30 to 40 feet by July. It is currently filling at about 3 inches a day. The most recent water temp was 57. Still chilly but doable.

As for the north of Utah where we still haven't seen spring, Willard Bay is completely full and has the warmest water. Still, it is only 53 degree water. I'm gonna go get some cold on there tomorrow. The mountain lakes are still below 50. I'm not goin up there.

Good to hear that Powell is filling back up with ice water:) It's scary when it just keeps going down, my local lake was down 18 ft a few years back. It was hard to find a ramp long enough to launch a boat. It's back up to normal now, seems like the lake is twice as big!

Just returned from 3 days at Powell.  58 degree water.  Sweet time.

Boat ran great in spite of my own winterization project thanks to Derek and Pete.

Let the season begin!
