Heh, heh, he said Dillywhacker. There was a kid in my Jr. High who was a known Dillywhacker. He was beaten up a lot.

Better to beaten up than beaten off. Oh wait, that's supposed to be pissed off & pissed on.

Seriously dudes - just took my ride for the first run - nice.  Was slightly alarmed by the temp but it seems consistent.  Runs at 176-185.  If I come of a hard run and idle at stop, it will drop to 165, but them climb right back into the above window.  I seem to recall a thread about these engines running cool if you don't have the closed system (due to cold lake water) and yes, I don't have the closed system.  So, the $64,000 question, what is the 'normal' running temp for an unaltered stock V-drive Toy?

Hey I went to lake today with a new ground wire and a new prop. The boat did great but the prop was a disopoment (acme 13-11.50 three blade LH) still to slow out of water or I just put to much water in my boat. But the wake was still not what I was looking for, so someone tell how to place my thirdy two hundred pounds in the boat to make it throw a huge strait up super huge wake?
