What does wakeworld think of the Epics?

Just curious. Went there because of Cyclone's post about it. Saw a few of you guys used to post there.

I'm so stoked to go learn some tricks. Tons of help for the newbie knuckledragger.

The topics on Wakeworld are pretty fluid, and since Epics are not sold new anymore, there is very little discussion of value on Toyota boats. If you visit the site over time, you will see the same topics over and over. There are so many users asking the same questions. Here are the favorites: "Which boat, X Star or SA Nautique TE?"
"How do I make an auto ballast system?"
"How loud is my stereo?"
"What Truck should I tow with?"
"Am I Cool?"

It is still a good site, but it used to be more interesting.

...when you used to be there....

No sheeeaht, Pete, you're a great addition to any board - especially your own!

Got nothin but love for ya buddy.

Hey, check this out. I just realized that we should head up to Grant Lake for 'boarding. In-laws have a cabin up there, but we usually only go during the winter. It's at June Lake, which is near Mammoth Lakes, which is near Yosemite. Grant's the lower of the four little lakes, all of which are fed by glacier.

In the summer, the water's not frozen...and I've only seen a real boat on the lake once. It's a rectangular lake of sufficient size to do some real damage to our knees. Gotta invest some more time on that train of thought.

SoCal is no place to own a freshwater boat or have a hobby like skiing or wakeboarding. The big weekend's coming up and I just can't seem to make peace (or gather a posse) to dawn patrol the local lakes.

You guys back there are so set.

Man, that sounds nice. I'm outside Atlanta but I'm going to N. Ca. next week, I've been travelling a lot for work lately. i considered moving to SD, but I don't think I would own a wakeboard boat there. Too crowded and expensive for that. Good surfing though, that would be the thing to do out there.
