Anyone have any ideas on how I could incorporate tower speakers on my e21 without a tower?I don't have a tower nor am I going to get one but could I fabricate something to hold some tower speakers and look good. Maybe above the windshield or something, any ideas? Maybe some other ideas on a nice sound system.

I haven't been spoiled by music while riding, but when we used to find a beach and anchor, I had a desire to get sound to the beach. Boat speaks don't do so hot for that. I thought it would be nice to mount some Bose, etc., box speakers inside the trunk lid so that you could opne the trunk and they'd be pointing aft towards the beach.

We stopped beaching like that for the most part so the thought got filed away.

get two brackets for your pole and hang a couple of speakers from it with the type of metal straps you use to tie down your water heater. one bracket up, one down, straps bolted tight around speakers and then connected to the brackets.

If your main goal is to have your riders hear the music, I highly recommend Liquid Force Liquid Tunes. They are sweet, been using them for a couple months and have decide not to go with the all out $10,000 stereo and a set of ear plugs for everyone in the boat. Did that on the last boat and you still couldn't hear the music at times.

The best part- Listening to music under water after you have taken a big fall! ;D They make it feel like your in your own wakeboarding video.

seriously you should try them it will save you $9800 and your friends wont go deaf.

Sounds like you have two problems.  You have nowhere to mount speakers and you have no speakers that can do the job!

Here's a possible solution:  Make a light speaker box that can hold the speakers of your choice and secure it to the grab handle of the transom.  You could leave it as a temporary thing that is removed each time you ride.

Tough part is finding speakers that you can REALLY hear behind the boat.  For that, you will need some speakers that use a compresion loaded driver type setup-a-ma-bob..... like the NVS or Skylon Rubicons.

Make a box that can pop out of the trunk, mount the trunklid to the top, couple of linear actuators to raise and lower. Make it automatically retract when the rider falls.

Or, just get a tower.
