for bigger family, I would recommend one of the v-drives.  Awesome boats.

what is the performance difference between v-drive and regular?  Are all 2000+ V-drive or just the S22's?

E's and X's are d-drives.  S and SX's are v-drives. D-drives are definitely better for skiing and the v-drives are set up more for wakeboarding. Open bows and lots of room. Same engine/performance in all models. V's have more seating with the engine in the back. Start reading through the literature section and look at the boats for sale under boats in the forum. Several good ones there right now. I'm lovin' my 2000 E22 it does everything your looking to do.

Jpaul- I have about US$22,500 invested summer.  I got a great deal on it and spent some money making sure she runs perfect for the rest of her life.  I'd let it go for that.  I'll post some pix later tonight if you are still interested.  The interior is in OKAY condition.  Has a few seems that are pullin but I have a Marine guy that is going to fix them.
