I located the paddle wheel 12-13 inches in front of the engine fresh water scupper. It would be better at 11-12 inches since mine was a little tight to the gas tank.
I attached a pic or the location looking down (next the tranny) and the hull plug (didn't have the issues of any inner shell or gap).

On the throttle linkage and servo positioning, I took the throttle snap bracket off the Accuski add-on bracket. I drilled a second hole on the engine post and fastened it down. I then bent the post to bring the throttle cable in better alignment.
I had difficulty getting good clearance from the shower box, back deck lift so I fashioned a new bracket for the servo with some aluminum angle that I had and mounted the servo on a free tapped screw hole on the engine.
I'm off to the lake to test it all out. Wish me luck!

Perfect Pass worked!
Just in time to enjoy on our trip to Flaming Gorge.
Thanks for everyone's help. It is nice to post a problem and get a quick response.
I noted that I lost 300 rpm at WOT. I can now only get 5700 rpm instead of 6000. No big deal for me since I try to baby the engine and seldom push it past 5000 rpm.

That's so cool! It was hard to see what the bracket looked like from the small pic, but as long as it actuates the throttle and doesn't bind, it should work. It's like getting a new boat, eh?

Perfect Pass showed up yesterday?
?
.? Finished the throttle and servo installation this morning!? Planning to run the wires tomorrow and drilling the hole on Thursday.? I hope to get everything finished by the weekend!?
When drilling the hole, did you guys drill a pilot hole like the PP instructions talk about?? If yes, did you drill the pilot hole from the inside or outside??

Ok, got the hole drilled today. I had the same problem others had with spacing for the washer, so I installed it without it! Hopefully that doesn't effect anything. The manual said it is optional for some installs anyway?Planning on finishing the paddlewheel and clean-up / tightening tomorrow. One problem though. I can't find the wire to tap in to for RPM. I don't have the same bundles apparently, and can't seem to find a gray only wire (lots of gray/black or gray/white etc...). Anyone remember where they found the RPM wire on an v-drive?

PP installed! Was running great until I fixed my engine problem, now I need to adjust it again. Oh, well, that's a good trade-off. if you are considering PP, get it, you won't be sorry.
