OK i cant take it anymore, Ive been working on this for quite some time now and we are starting to get some lets just be honest AWESOME results!!!!
as we all know capt rick or old dealers were the only people with the "scan tool" to check codes, pull live data, active test, etc on our boats. As a Lexus technician this drove me NUTS!!!! the fact that the Lexus/Toyota scanner didn't work was even
more frustrating. BUT as the title suggest we have figured it out!!!! i tested a prototype last night and everything came to life. we need to do some testing to make sure we don't have any glitches but we should soon have a product that you can purchase NOT just rent and for what I'm really trying to keep to a reasonable price. It all comes down to volume how many we can sell will directly affect pricing. This is a software based system that will run on a laptop or PC with a connecting cable.
so my question is if given the price of $200.00 would you buy one and when would you buy it.
1. would you buy it as soon as its available?
2. would you buy it only when your boat had a problem and need it?
3. would you not buy it. and just go the old guess routine?
4. would you continue to rent the "scan tool" for $150 plus $30 freight plus $1500 refundable deposit
what it comes down to is i need a preorder of 20 units to come in or around the $200 mark. lets please keep responses to the question asked. i cannot and will not talk about how it works or details about it. general comments are welcome and appreciated
