My son already promised that I'd sell it to his friend, it is pretty beat anyway. Inserts are coming out of it so I figured that it was time to get a new one. My old one is a 2000 Belmont, they still sell that shape but they call it something else.

I'll make some copies of those CD's today now that it's on my mind.

Cyclone,
Lesman's directions were great with one small detail to mention. The gas station is on the right side of the road. Since there is NOTHING else at that intersection you may not have thought twice about it but didn't want to in the middle of nowhere thinking you were turned around!

Breakawaydaze, if you are tight on time, there is a ramp somewhere off SC Exit 2 that will save you 15-20 minutes each way. If you can locate it on a map (I only know it from the water) you can launch there and cut staight across to Payne's Creek. You will be there in minutes.

Sounding like its going to work! Saturday AM weather will be great - I placed the order.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

Oh yea, I meant the other left.... The gas station is on the right. My bad. No worries about the wakeboard. Thanks for the correction Wreck.

Apparently the weather is going to cooperate as requested. It sounds as if Saturday AM is the general concensus as to when to gather. The water stays glassy until around 9:30-10:00AM when the boats and wind begin to stir it up some. Cyclone has picked a good campsite. It will be right across from the "private" boat ramp accessible only to campers. The Payne's Creek public boat ramp is to the south.

Once again, my place is on Payne's Creek about where marker PC6 would be if the last marker were not #5! It has a bright yellow GT banner, can't miss it. In fact, DNR swears it is the reason wakeboarders aim for my dock. Let's just say that UGA is well represented at the lake. The real reason is that the center channel markers 4 and 5 line you up to take dead aim toward my dock instead of going wide to stay in the "middle" of the creek. This will make sense when you see the set up. Keep this in mind considering I am a grumpy old man that gets tired of being tossed around all day by the likes of, well, .....us.

Everyone is invited to stop by anytime and use the place as they see fit.  Once everyone knows their ETA, I would suggest the cove where Cyclone is camping as a spot to gather the boats. It is calm and protected whereas the creek is narrow at my dock and things really may bounce around if the lake is active.
Don't be so humble, you're not that great.

Wreck, sounds good. I think I'll have to put in at the public ramp, I plan on getting up there around 10 am or so, and I don't get the campsite until 2 pm. I'll swing by when we put in, I'll PM you with my cel no.

Dang, I was really hopin' to get some pics of that sweet ride. You should go put a Baby Ruth in the pool so the meet will be cancelled! We will have to do it again before the summer is out, seems like there are more Epics on Hartwell than Lanier. My kids love to camp out, so it's a win-win.
